Bulldogs News · And the Student Athlete of the Month winner is…

Congratulations to K’Ahriyus “KP” Pennington  for being selected as the Athlete of the Month.   He received 64% of the votes for this month.



KP receiving Bronze Medal for finishing 3rd in the 400 m Dash at the State Track Meet.

KP  is a freshman at Pike County High School.  He was a running back and defensive back for the JV Football team where he was able to move up to the Varsity team at the end of the season.  He is a also member of the  B-team Basketball team.  KP is also a member of the track team where he finished in 3rd place in the 400m Dash this past weekend at the State Track meet in Cullman, Alabama.  Once KP graduates he would like to receive a scholarship to play college football.  

KP is the son of Ranisha Spikner and KeKo Pennington.   When asked what motivates him he said “My mother.  She told me ‘I can do or be anything in this world if I put my mind to it.’ And every time I thing about what she said I work harder.”  KP looks up to his mother because she is a hard working woman.  


When asked what he likes to do in his “free” time KP said, “I enjoy playing basketball at the park and working out to get stronger.” “Forever a Bulldog!!!
