On Tuesday night it didn’t take the Bulldogs long to find their rhythm on office as ZaKevin Pennington scored a rushing TD with 4:53 to go in the first. The two point conversion by Makhi Leverette was good giving the Bulldogs the early lead of 8-0. GW Long would struggle to get anything going on offense and turn the ball back over to the Bulldogs. This would lead to ZaKevin Pennington to run a 55 yard TD. Ian Foster would throw a pass on the 2 point conversion to Ryan Tidwell to give the Bulldogs a 16-0 lead with 2:59 to go in the first quarter. Long scored at he end of the first quarter making the score 16-8. Jhanauris King would score a TD for the Bulldogs with 7:03 to go in the half allowing the Bulldogs to have a 22-8 point lead. Quarterback, Ian Foster, scored on the QB run with 4:30 to go in the first half. Bulldogs are up 28-8. With 2:34 seconds to go in the half GW Long would fumble the ball on the 50 yard line where ZaKevin Pennington would recover the ball.
GW Long would come out and score with 4:50 seconds to go in the 3rd quarter narrowing the Bulldogs lead to 28-16. Ryan Tidwell, for Pike County, would score a TD with 4:17 to go in the 3rd to increase the Bulldogs lead to 35-16. The 3rd quarter would come to an end as Ian Foster would score on a 50 yard run and the 2 point conversion was good this time. Bulldogs are up 42-22.
The Bulldogs would kick off to GW Long to start the 4th quarter where Makhi Leverette saw the opportunity to strip the ball from the GW Long player. Leverette would return it for a Bulldog TD. This would give the Bulldogs a 50-22 point lead. GW Long would find the end zone once again with 4:47 to go in the game. The Bulldogs were able to beat GW Long 50-30.
