The Bulldogs pick up a huge victory tonight as they knocked off the Eagles from Providence Christian by a score of 47-10. The Eagles struck first but the Bulldogs held them to just a field goal with 5:42 to go in first quarter of the game. Derrick Myhand would bust through the middle of the line for a Bulldog rushing touchdown with 7:48 to go in the half. The Bulldogs would take the lead 6-3. Rayshawn Reynolds would find the end zone with 3:25 to go in the have and he would also make the 2 point conversion play giving the Bulldogs a 14-3 lead. On a 4th down and 1 yard to go from the 13 yard line Qua Coleman found K’Von Caffie in the end zone for another Bulldog tough down. Pike County would have a 20-3 lead going in to half time.

The Bulldogs would get the ball to start the second half where they kept the momentum going. Rayshawn Reynold scored with 9:41 to go in the third quarter. He also made the two point conversion. K’Von Caffie had a big tackle for loss in a third down play forcing the Eagles to punt the ball. Darrick “Jr” Myhand would have about a 60 yard touchdown run which extended the Bulldog’s lead to 34-3. The Eagles were not going away quietly. The quarterback found 22 open for a touchdown pass with 11:03 to go in the game.
Derrick Myhand would score agains on about a 45 yard long touchdown run with 9:38 to go in the game. Hernando “Duke” Wheeler would come up with a recovered fumble for the Bulldogs as the Eagles fumbled the kickoff. Derrick “Jr” Myhand would run the ball in with 6:43 to go in the game giving the Bulldogs a 47-10 lead.
