The Trojans of Charles Henderson proved to be a little much for the Bulldogs of Pike County in the Fall Jamboree, Friday night at Bulldog Stadium. The Bulldogs didn’t go down without a giving the Trojans a fight until the end. Derrick Myhand came up with 2 interceptions against the Trojans one in the first quarter and the other just before halftime. The Bulldogs also recovered a fumble by the Trojans in the game but were unable to capitalize on the turnovers. Late in the game the Bulldogs went for it on fourth down, quarterback Jaidyn Wilson was able to find wide receiver Amaghie Lampley in the corner. Lampley was able to come down with the reception in the end zone. The PAT was no good. The Bulldogs didn’t give up but the Trojans intercepted Wilson’s pass to Lampley to stop the late drive.
The Bulldogs will host Alabama Christian next Friday night. Come out to support these guys.
